EnerChange was created through the impetus of participation in Al Gore’s Climate Project that followed his landmark film, An Inconvenient Truth. Adding a voice to the demand side of the energy distribution equation, we created EnerChange to help drive energy efficiency, focusing our efforts initially, on the Twin City Nonprofit Community. Almost ten years later, we have a strong record of guiding nonprofits (800+) to implementing measures that have already prevented the emission of more than 80,500 Metric Tons of Carbon and saved the nonprofit community over $10 million that were previously spent on energy costs.
We know our part is a small one relative to the entire challenge of Climate Change, but we are nevertheless very pleased to play our role in the trend described in the MN Commerce report below. Most importantly, we want to tip our EnerChange hat to all of our EnerChanging Clients who have risen to the challenge to make energy consumption changes that matter – to themselves, to their communities and to the planet we love.
If you too, want to be part of this very positive trend and movement, please call on us at EnerChange.
